I have been touched by all the sweet comments and email that I received in the past week. Your kind and wise words have touched my heart and they have truly made a difference in these difficult times. I can not thank you enough and would like to give you all a big hug. I feel blessed that I have so many beautiful readers from all over the world and this knowledge gives me more motivation to blog than ever. Your words of sympathy have brought sunshine during these dark days. With today’s post I want to give a little bit of sunshine from me to you!
Last Friday, one year after my mother died, my father passed away. I am in complete shock, losing both my parents in one year is just too much to comprehend. I will continue blogging as I much need the distraction, but it might not be as frequent as normal. Take care and hug your loved ones.
With Spring in sight we will be spending more time outdoors. Time to start thinking about decorating your outdoor areas! Today some outdoor inspiration in blue. Blue is a great color to use outdoors, it is fresh and it a beach house vibe to it.

I have featured this stylish house on the Greek island Mykonos before (you can see it here). But I came across some new images and as the house has got a new look I decided that it is worth showing you again. The holiday home, which balances on a small hilltop with breathtaking views over the Aegean sea and the magical island of Delos, is actually for rent (however only the rich can afford it..).
In last week’s post about white kitchens the kitchen below was featured (isn’t that brick wall gorgeous by the way). Some of you wanted to see more of this house. You ask and I find it, so here it is! This beautiful home on Île de Ré in France has been featured in Marie Claire Maison. You can find more information here on their website.
