I am leaving for a holiday on Ibiza and Formentera in two weeks time (hurray!). We have been to both islands before but it has been a while. Please let me know if you know some lovely spots for eating, shopping, best beaches etc. I will also putting together an Ibiza/Formentera guide for my blog The Travel Files and suggestions will be included. Your help is highly appreciated! The beautiful photo above was taken by Sibella Court in Ibiza town.
This beautiful home in the Dordogne region, France, was built in the early 18th century. The farmhouse contains a lot of original featured such as the stone walls and ceilings with exposed beams. The fireplaces and the stone floors were implemented by the owners. Mainly natural materials ad earth tones are used for decorating the house. But here and there some modern elements (such as the modern bath tub) can found which gives an interesting touch to the house.
I have been enjoying putting together the fashion posts that I have being doing lately so I continue with the Fashion Friday posts. Some things that I love today:
1. this lovely wrinkled leather shoulder bag has quilted suede appliqués and small brass studs;
2. soft sweater with beautiful draped silhouette from Vince. I love all the other designs from Vince!;
3. this slim fold-over clutch styled in delicate, snake-embossed leather adds a touch of vintage elegance to any look;
4. leather cuff from designer Cynthia Desser who is inspired by the textures of the natural world;
5. this heart ring from Yuki Nago is simple and delicate in design but is still eye-catchingly unique.
Summer is coming to an end and although it is getting cooler, the weather is still nice enough to enjoy the outdoors. I love how this outdoor area is styled, the different textiles, colors and use of various natural materials (such a rattan and linen) give an ethnic touch to the place.

I have posted about this beautiful restored farmhouse in Belgium before on my blog The Travel Files. But these new images from photographer Romain Ricard here were recently featured in ELLE Deco France. This stunning home and stylish Bed & Breakfast in Heusden-Zolder in the Provence of Limburg in Belgium is owned by interior designer Dorine Cooreman who has her own design firm called Moka Projects.

While it is still summer I continue with outdoor related and summer inspired posts! Today some beautiful outdoor spaces in (off) white.
This is the holiday home of fashion designer John Rocha in St. Jean–Cap-Ferrat in the South of France. The house itself is decorated in a minimalistic way. A lot of attention has been given to outdoor areas. The garden is lush and tropical and has a black state infinity swimming pool. The perfect place to enjoy the Mediterranean life style! The slatted loungers were found on the Clignancourt flea market in Paris and the white wire chairs picked up at a market in Nice. The glass table and wooden benches were both designed by John Rocha.
I received some inquiries about the black and white poufs featured in a previous post. These beauties are from West Elm and the good news is that West Elm now ships world wide. The Zigzag pouf is woven in the same pattern as one of their most popular rugs. The Kite Kilim pouf is, like the Zigzag, pouf handwoven. From this pattern there is also a rug available.
I love these poufs and I am thinking of getting two of them. They can be used a casual seating but I would use them, together with a large tray, as a side or coffee table.
Interior designer Isabel Lopez-Quesada transformed an old barn in the South of France into a shabby chic country cottage. Simple, rustic materials such as iron walls and recycled wood are combined with sophisticated design such as the Tolemeo lamp. This unusual mix gives an interesting touch to the house.
