I like how this chest of drawers is transformed into a fabulous eye-catching piece for dining room or kitchen – thank to some chalkboard paint. Labelling the drawers with chalk adds a fun detail. To achieve strong, bright letters that don’t smudge easily, wipe the surface with a damp cloth just before you write, then leave to dry naturally for cute labels that make it easy to delegate setting the table. I found this idea on homelife, here you find a ‘how to apply chalkboard paint guide’.

Today I’m loving … this beautiful kitchen. I found the image on the website of Elle Interior Norway but I have seen the kitchen before and I know it is somewhere in The Netherlands.

The beautiful little cottage belongs to Andrea, who lives in the historic center of Spello in Umbria, Italy. She has restored the cottage with the help of her best friend Marine.
The kitchen has a rustic charm. The colors and materials that were chosen blend really well.
I love the poster with the giraf! I have seen it before but don’t know where it is from. Does anyone have more information about the poster?

Today I’m loving … these turquoise chairs. I like how they really pop out! The bar stools are from IKEA. They look very different with a bit of paint. You can see more of this Swedish summer house here.

This farmhouse is situated in a Weesp, a small village not far for busy Amsterdam.
The house was old and warn out when it was bought and an extensive renovation was needed.
The owners successfully managed to keep authentic details but added all comforts of a modern house.
The floors in the kitchen and living room are made of concrete.

Today’s post is about kitchens! I am showing you my favorite style of kitchens: modern country kitchens.
Even a very basic kitchen like the one in the image above can be cosy.
I love this wooden kitchen. We originally wanted to have a wooden kitchen in our home but as we already had a wooden floor we thought that it would be too much.
