Marit Lissdaniels and Angelica Utterberg are the names behind Little Studio. This beautiful label from Sweden offers playful and cheerful design, which is supposed to fit equally well to adults as to children. After the success of their graphic prints, they have expanded their collection with pillowcases, trays and cutting boards.

Little Studio’s philosophy: “Children’s ability to see things for more than what they really are, is a great inspiration to us. For example, a triangle could just be a triangle – but it can also be a mountain. Or a circle, a circular symbol, can with other circles turn into soap bubbles. We try to avoid the traditional gender roles, we want everything to fit all. It’s so much more fun we think, when you erase these boundaries and get to choose freely. Instead, we try to create designs that with the aid of imagination, color and shape conveys a special feeling.” You can visit their beautiful online shop here.

Today I would like to introduce you to a online shop called Neëst. Every thing in this shop is beautiful! Throughout its search for such a pure sense of aesthetics Neëst has composed a collection of essential favorites from Japan all the way to Scandinavia.

Neëst is about enhancing everyday items by mixing vintage and contemporary objects. Timeless objects of the utmost elegance in the simplicity of its shape and design with a propensity for natural fibers and materials (wood, linen, cotton, weaved straw…) as well as traditional handmade craftsmanship.

The beautiful and unique products make it worth visiting Neëst’s website, but also the styling and the gorgeous photos are very inspiring. And the lovely lady behind Neëst also has a beautiful blog.

Black & white mixed with wood is one of my favorite colour combinations! These stunning images are shot by Danish photographer Line Klein. The house, located in North Zealand in Denmark, is owned by an architect. The style is simple, Nordic, with clean lines and beautiful contrasts.

Today I’m loving … this beautiful porcelain plates from Etsy shop Zuppa Atelier. The plates will look stunning on a table of course but I can also see them hanging on a wall (grouped together).

Julia, who creates these lovely pieces in her atelier in Brazil: “Each piece is unique, hand drawn and painted, using a combination of techniques of free hand, pen and ink and brushes. It’s a very slow process that requires a lot of patience, dedication and love for what I do.”

Today I’m loving these slumber poufs designed by Aleksandra Gaca. The Polish designer, who is now working and living in The Netherlands, designed the poufs for Belgian company Casalis.

The poufs are made from three dimensional elastic fabric and which make them highly flexible. The comfortable poufs take the shape of your body when you sit on them and they get back to their original shape when you get up.
