Some beautiful photos that have caught my eye! The common factor is that there is an element of beautiful raw wood in every image.

Another post that shows my love for wood. Wooden bowls, a table made from old wood, an entire wall of wood .. I love it all! The Pure Nature wooden stool, the Bau pendant light and the Meow print (image above) are all available from BODIE and FOU.

I love browsing on real estate websites and see how other people live. Sometimes you find the most gorgeous houses such as this one situated close to Malmö in the southern part of Sweden. This former vicarage has been renovated to perfection. Is this your dream home? It is for sale!

Used shipping pallets are great to use for a design DIY project. They are inexpensive, rustic looking and using reclaimed wood/products is evironmental friendly. You can paint them (or not) and pile them up with some lovely cushions to create a sofa. But there is a lot more you can do. Here are some of the best pallet projects that I found online.

This Scandinavian home is filled with industrial objects and vintage accessories and furniture pieces. Mixing different styles can make a space look cluttered or odd but the owners managed to combine all elements really well. The result is a cozy and unique home. The lovely Scandinavian style duvet cover with Moose print (image below) is available here.

Paola Navone is one of my favorite designers and this is her summer home in Greece. The stunning house is located on one of the Cyclades Islands and has a gorgeous view over the Aegean sea.

I love this idea the painted ‘carpet’s on the concrete floors (indoors and outdoors!)..

The whole house is stunningly decorated with Paola’s own designs. The iron tables in the living room (top image) are from Paola’s collection that she designed for Gervasoni. The kitchen is simple but really works well in this old house.
