Dispense your facial tissue in style with this lovely handcrafted wooden whale from Etsy shop Gnome Sweeeet Gnome. Each whale is completely hand cut, hand sanded, hand painted, and hand constructed which requires several hours of loving attention per whale. The wood is purchased from a local lumber store who buys directly from sustainable forestry companies in the United States.

etsy shop the old red hen

Simple, clean, and classic. These are the words that can be used to describe the vintage finds of Julie, the owner of Etsy shop The Old Red Hen. Thrifting, antiquing, and collecting have been part of Julie’s life since she was a young girl.

etsybrocante2.jpg

Her mother, grandmother, aunts & uncles have always filled their homes with timeworn treasures and interesting relics. Julie would never tire of looking at unusual vintage pieces or hearing stories of where they’d come from.

etsy love

etsylove1.jpg

This beautiful Love sign from Etsy shop Old New Again is hand cut. All their signs are cut on their scroll saw, then sanded well. They then apply various mediums in layers to get that great shabby chic cottage look. They also have shelves in their collection.

etsylove2.jpg

This is what this husband and wife team say about their designs: “We love the vintage look, but with a POP of NEW! Sort of “fresh vintage” — the best of both worlds! We sell functional pieces that make your life easier and are inspired by our own needs at home. We try to come up with innovative designs that are both practical and pretty. Organizing can be cool!”

I have a million things to do (to feed a baby among others..) but I have to show you these gorgeous artworks that I just found on Etsy. These original and handmade pictures are created from little hearts. For special occasions you can personalize these artworks, when some of the hearts could be replaced by your required initial(s), date(s) or names. More of Sarah&Bendrix’s work can be found in their Etsy shop.
