I love this vegetable garden: it is practical (for small gardens and balconies), inexpensive and, not unimportant, it looks good! Wooden wine boxes are used as plant containers.

I found this idea on LLH Designs. You can find more information and instructions here.

The products featured here are: Playhouse Casa Cabana White and Playhouse Casa Cababa Deco (top images). Trojan Horse can be used as a stool but is also fun to play with. Playhouse Rocket is one of my favorites – this is great fun for future astronauts). Bo Buro Set is a cardboard desk & two stools. It’s very sturdy and perfect for drawing, writing, reading, playing shop etc.!

Today I’m loving … this Christmas tree made from recycled wood by Wood & Wool Stool.

This horse swing also looks great indoors! It is constructed entirely out of recycled rubber tires. The only thing on this horse that isn’t made of tires is his charming mane which is made from rope. The swing is available from Le Souk.

Today I’m loving … the beautiful kids furniture collection from furniture maker and interior designer Katrin Arens. Last year I posted about her beautiful home in Italy, which you can see here.

On Katrin’s website you can find more furniture and interior accessories. Each piece is unique and handmade, using reclaimed materials from derelict country houses, from cellars, and from carpentry studios.

Another fun DIY project today! Graça Paz of the blog aqui pelo campo made this beautiful rustic coat hanger from tree branches and recycled wood. There are no instructions but I don’t think those are necessary as this project is pretty straight forward and not that difficult.
