Danish label by nord has some gorgeous new products in their collection. I love their cushions with photo print of some beautiful feathers. And the duvet cover with feather print is just as gorgeous. As all other by nord products, also these designs are inspired by Scandinavian nature.

wanted: this wooden stool

Today I’m loving … this beautiful wooden stool. It is from IKEA but unfortunately it is no longer available. I’ve seen the stool several times in the past few months and every time I see it I want it more.. Does anybody know the name of the stool? The inspiring photo (gorgeous!) by the way, is shot by Marjon Hoogervorst while styling is from the hand of AnoukB.

things that caught my eye

Today I’d like to show you some things that caught my eye this week. The Rangoli patchwork bedspread in the images above and below is handcrafted from silk in India (found via Simple Blueprint).

I love the rich hues of the geometric design, which are complimented by aqua topstitching and backed with luxurious silk in fuschia.

Clockwise starting top left: Tom Dixon light made from brass with a high gloss white powder coat exterior; Tom Dixon’s fan chair which is a modern take on the classical Windsor chair; wooden macrame bangles from Eleanor Ford; hand-loomed silk cushion in jacquard weave.

Today I’m loving … these quilts made from vintage sari’s pieced together and then stitched all over with running stitch. Each quilt is unique and has different colours and patterns on either side.

and more eye candy from formentera

As promised, another gorgeous Spanish home today! Also this house, that I found through French by Design, in located on Formentera.

It belongs to Eugenia, who works as a fashion model but she could also be an interior decorator. She did a fantastic job decorating this fabulous place. Isn’t this kitchen with gorgeous wooden table to die for?!

I love the rustic vibe. The rug, the pillows in various patterns and colors, the wooden furniture … everything fits perfectly.

The bedroom has a serene atmosphere, with beautiful black and white bedspreads. The outdoor areas (image below + top image) are perfect for outdoor eating and relaxing. I could picture myself there zipping from a cocktail!
