About The Style Files
The Style Files a blog about interiors, travel, fashion and lifestyle. I am based in The Netherlands but search the entire globe for inspirational finds. Launched in 2006, The Style Files was part of the first wave of interior and lifestyle blogs. I am proud that over the years this has become a place to absorb new ideas, find new products & designs and to get inspired!
About me
My name is Danielle de Lange. Together with my partner Ivar and our son Kick I live in a beautiful little village not far from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. My personal archive, which I have built up to a huge collection over the years, is full of clippings I took from my favorite magazines and trips. Those files encouraged me to start this website (hence The Style Files). My goal is to share all these great findings with you!
The images here are from our (now former) home (you can see more here and here). My own design style is basic and modern with clean lines and natural materials. My idea is that a house should be warm and inviting. Your home should make you happy and should reflect your lifestyle and individuality. I love to do this by integrating art and personal objects (acquired on e.g. journeys) into our home.
