SANTA CLARA 1728 BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN LISBON, PORTUGAL

Santa Clara 1728 is a beautiful 18th-century palace that has been transformed into a romantic boutique hotel. Perched atop one of the city’s seven hills, overlooking the Pantheon and the Tagus River, the hotel has been designed by local architect Manuel Aires Mateus. The modern, clean design contrasts beautifully with the ancient walls and limestone stairs. The six spacious suites are suited with minimalist wooden furniture by designer Antonio Citterio and linnen bed textiles, all in a neutral color palette.
