I received an email from Elena, introducing me to Agnandi. This small complex of summer suites and villas on Mykonos (Greece) has been created by her parents almost 25 years ago. Elena and her husband (both are architects) are the co-owners of Agnandi and they have renovated the property during the last 2 years. About Agnandi: Freshly renovated by the owners-architects, only 500 meters uphill over the new port and within an easy 5 minute car-ride from Hora, nestles Agnandi, an ideal summer get-away for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Surrounded by two and a half acres of lush garden filled with geraniums and bougainvilleas, are 18 independent residences, varying in size, that offer all the comforts of a perfectly set country home, coupled with the personalized services of a hotel. I have been to several Greek islands (I love Greece!) but have never been to Mykonos. After seeing these beautiful images of Agnandi, this place is now high on my list of places to visit! Please visit Agnandi’s website for more information and bookings.
Time seems to slow down to a dream-like pace as one takes in the breath taking blue of the Aegean sea and sky, the charming white of the town of Mykonos (Hora), ancient Delos and the splendid surrounding Cycladic islands whilst lazily counting all boats entangled in a perpetual choreography in and out of the island’s ports.
