AN ELEGANT 19TH CENTURY HOME IN LYON, FRANCE

og1

This stylish 19th-century home in Lyon, France, has been modernized by the current owners but luckily many original features such as the mouldings on the walls and ceilings, have been preserved. The modern elements are selected with care and the marble kitchen island, the midcentury furniture pieces, modern light fixtures and accessories really work well with the original details. I love the old wooden herringbone floor in the kitchen. And what about those large windows!

  3. I love France and love the architecture of the french homes. I am not a fan of mostly white, but for some reason it really really works in this home. Love the decor, it looks clean and minimalist but not clinical it still feels cozy. Thank you for sharing – Happy Tuesday!
