ENJOYING THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Sleigh-date-CGWP

We, as a family, love spending time outdoors. We do not go on multiple day hikes but we do enjoy Sunday morning walks with our dog in a nearby park, building a bonfire in our garden and roasting marshmallows, and drinking hot chocolate or mulled wine (you can find a great recipe here). Today on the blog some outdoor fun inspiration and some of my favorite ‘outdoor gear’ which you can find at the end of the post. I love the Swedish Hestra Nordic Wool Mittens, they are not only good looking but keep my hands warm as well. Also, the Woolrich Chalet Slippers are my favorite slippers for inside, I have them in black and red. Stanley Flask is one of the best there is and keeps my coffee, tea, chocolate, or wine warm. The Feuerhand lantern is a classic: the factory in Germany has been producing these hurricane lanterns for more than 100 years. It burn up to 20 hours! The Penfield Rockwool Down Women Jacket is stylish and warm. And one of my all time favorites are the Danner Mountain Light Cascade Boots which will last a life time. These boots gained popularity through the movie Wild in which Reese Witherspoon was wearing these boots.

I love this chunky knit. The colour is so exuberant and really accentuate the hues on Autumn.
Wish I could buy it here in South Africa!
