A BEAUTIFUL HOME ON A DANISH ISLAND

This beautiful family home is located on Amagar in Denmark. Amagar is an island and connected to the much larger island of Zealand by five bridges. The Danish capital Copenhagen is partly situated on Amager. The owners are originally from Iceland. Their origin is reflected in their home by the use of materials such as raw stone, wood, snow-white walls, wool, sheep skins and organic shapes. The high ceilings and the white painted walls create a airy and light atmosphere. The decor is a unique mix of design classics, IKEA furniture, some beautiful art pieces and items collected from their travels.

  1. This is lovely – I love the contrast between the dark wood and the bright white walls

  2. Love the dining table!

  3. La zona de lectura es perfecta!!!! Asiento, alfombra, estantería….

  4. What a lovely home! Lots of inspiration, and that dachshund sketch is to die for! One comment: the island is called Zealand, Amager (with an e) is an area on the island.

  5. This home design and style very beautiful. I like this classic design house, very tasteful, not only the classical, well, at the same time modern. The combination of colors, the color of the furniture, it feels comfort and warmth of home.I especially liked the kitchen, feels naturalness furniture, all located, everything in its place, nothing more. The unusual combination of white with black and dark brown. Color emphasizes the parity of the house. The house is not big, but at the same time is not a species of tightness home.Even on the painting caught my eyes ” ignorance is prevalent elsewhere and it’s ssupestitions find no support here” very beautiful and clever word. Very talented designer.
