This beautiful 1,600-square-foot two-bedroom residence high in the hills of Laurel Canyon belongs to trend forecaster Anne Ziegler and her husband Scott Mason. The 1934 house had undergone an extensive renovation to transform it into light and airy home with a crisp white color scheme. The couple’s goal was to create a calm place in which they can escape from their busy careers. Anne: “I spend all day looking at magazines, books, and blogs for inspiration. So we wanted a peaceful place in the canyon away from the over stimulation of our lives.” You can find more about this beautiful home and the furniture that was used decorating it in Domino Magazine.

  2. I love the vision boards surrounded study!!! Ideal working environment!

  3. For a 1930′s style home, this is an amazing transformation. Usually small, dark and antiquated they have managed to transform it into expansive looking, bright and modern. Truly a wonderful job.

  4. Super style! love this apartment :) X

  5. How is this trend forecasting? The home is truely beautiful but the style is pervasive. We have seen so much white and wood and gold and mid-century modern everywhere. I want to know – what is next?

  6. @am The post is not ment to be forecasting trends: the title is referring to the fact that Anne Ziegler is a trend forecaster (by profession),

  7. Super style! love this forecast :) The blue and withe are amazing :) X
