A MODERN FAMILY HOME IN INNER-CITY MELBOURNE

melbourne-home-2

What used to be an old pub is now a modern four bedroom family home in the inner-city of Melbourne, Australia. The interior has a contemporary feel with various works of art giving character to the spaces. My favorite is the Koala print by Carla Fletcher (top image) with embodies the dining area’s overall look. The Le Blanc artwork is an original from Letitia Morris Gallery and adds a lively graphic detail to an otherwise empty corner. In the kitchen Tolix stools give a slightly industrial edge. The bench top is made from polished concrete, as well is the floor, which is stain and scratch free. The freestanding Moda ‘Ellipsis’ bath adds an inviting curve to the ensuite and makes the most of a beautifully oversized window.
