A BEAUTIFUL RENOVATED FARMHOUSE IN THE NETHERLANDS

farmhouse-1

This beautiful renovated farmhouse is located in an area in The Netherlands that we call ‘Land van Maas en Waal’ (the land between two rivers named Maas and Waal). As soon as the potential buyers opened the century old farmhouse door they knew that they had found their dream home. The modern, natural coloured Scandinavian style really works in this old building. And I love the use of wood. Aren’t those thick, rustic wooden beams gorgeous?!

  1. Love the crow by the window… adds such character to the scene and the tree trunk… lots to be said for the Scandinavian sense of design!

  2. some great details and textures – love the unevenly sanded floors and the painted detail on the old wooden beam!

  3. This is a beautiful home. I especially like the mix of modern sleekness and the natural elements used.
