This beautiful house (photographed by Tara Pearce) was recently featured in Est Magazine. Fashion designer Lynda Newton and husband Paul transformed an old run down warehouse in Melbourne, Australia, into a inviting, contemporary three bedroom home for their family. All possible materials were salvaged during the gutting process and restored to an architectural detail in various areas throughout the home. Since Lynda has her own fashion company she has an eye for colour and texture, drawing on her experience in both interiors and product styling. This resulted in a sophisticated and eclectic mix of furniture styles. The couple used a monochromatic scheme as the foundation and then added their collection of vintage furniture and much-loved collection of art works.
