A MODERN HOME FROM THE 1920′S IN THE NETHERLANDS

This home located in Bloemendaal at the Dutch coast was built in the 1920′s. Although it has been renovated to offer all modern comforts, the house still has some historic elements such as the stair case (featured in the last image). The decor is kept simple and oozes serenity and unity. I love the wide wooden floor planks, we have a similar floor ourselves in our home. The pendant light with forest print in the kids room is the Shady Tree light from Dutch designer Nicolette Brunklaus.
