The home of designers Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba was recently featured in Dwell Magazine. The old 17th century mill in the South Easter part of Italy has been renovated and now serves as a vacation home for the couple to escape the hectic city life in Milan. The house is decorated in a modern style (with some furniture designed by the owners themselves) which gives an interesting effect in the centuries old building. One of the major challenges faced during the renovation was the old structure’s lack of windows. To solve this the architects carved out a number of skylights and opened up the back of the structure to create a patio, letting daylight flood in.

Well if this isn’t the prettiest home I ever did see. Truly. Breathtaking!
