It’s another dark rainy day in The Netherlands. Luckily Sweet Paul’s summer issue is out so I still can get my dose of summer!

This digital magazine is filled with gorgeous images, delicious recipes and inspiring ideas. The images featured here are about an article about natural colors. For example, the pillow cover in the top image has been dipped in blackberry dye.

Today I’m loving …. these diy paper lanterns which I discovered through the Happy Home blog. You can find instructions how to make yourself on the Martha Stewart website.

You can create your own version like Jess from Joyess Images did. She made this gorgeous doily lantern.

Indigo blue is one of the trend colours for this summer. The images above are from the Toast cataloque. The bedroom image below is from Mark Eden Schooley.

With the products above you can bring some indigo into your home. Clockwise, starting top left: traditional Ethiopian shawl that can be used as a throw, blanket or wrap; water hyacinth storage basket; striped Hammam Towel; chunky and hard-wearing jute rug, woven in India on a traditional punja loom.
More indigo inspiration will follow in the coming days!

Today I’m loving … this modern rustic kitchen.

I love the rustic atmosphere created with accessories made from wood and rattan!

I am missing the sun! That’s why I decided to create a sunny atmosphere through today’s post.

I hope that these very yellow images bring a little bit of sunshine to you!

Today I’m loving …. this dining area with Tolix chairs in various colors.

Yesterday the ladies from Desire to Inspire blogged about the work of photographer Brie Williams. As soon as I saw Brie’s portfolio I knew I had share her work with you as well!

I have no information about the location of these beautiful and exotic rooms. Is it Ibiza or perhaps Morocco? The images sure make me dream about faraway places..

I am not into green but that green shade on the wall in the bottom right photo is gorgeous!

This is the holiday home of French interior designer Sarah Lavoine. This old farmhouse is located in the French Gers region (which is often called French Tuscany), in the South West of France. The dining area has beautiful steel windows and doors. And isn’t that rustic wooden table gorgeous?!

This outdoor area is perfect for al fresco eating. The wooden beams in the bedroom (below) are huge. Simply stunning!

I am finally ready to announce the winner of the travel files website design contest. Reviewing all submissions took a bit longer than expected as I wanted to be sure that all submissions would be judged fairly and thoroughly. Receiving so many great ideas was exciting and I had a great time reviewing them. Initially I wanted to feature the winning designs as well as the two runners up. But as people put so much effort in their submissions and the quality was high I decided to show you the top 5 designs. The winner is announced at the end of this post.
