yellow fever

bloemengeel.jpg

It is another lovely Spring day here! And the sunny weather inspired me to do a post about yellow. I love these cute Billy Buttons flowers (above) and the table setting done by Kristy from Portobello Bride is stunning (photographed by ngg studios).

Some splashes of yellow can lighten up a room.

The flower patterned wallpaper has a vintage vibe.

turquoise chairs

Today I’m loving … these turquoise chairs. I like how they really pop out! The bar stools are from IKEA. They look very different with a bit of paint. You can see more of this Swedish summer house here.

white with a bit of lilac

In this predominantly white interior you can find some accessories in lilac.

The use of lilac gives the rooms a feminin touch without being to girly.

Such a beautiful girl’s room!

Lately I have been seeing a lot of vintage animal and/or botanical prints (as in the top left image).

neutrals & natural materials

I couldn’t resist posting more images from stylist Lara Hutton’s portfolio. The combination of neutral colors with natural materials is just beautiful!
