Today I’m loving …. these wonderful Japanese houseware products from Analogue Life.

Analogue Life is an online shop that focuses primarily on contemporary Japanese houseware. Whether mass produced, or handmade by artisans or craftsman, the emphasis is on simplicity , functionality and plain old good design.

Above some of my favorite products from their shop. The stunning vases are from pottery artist Yasuko Ozeki.

Today I’m loving … these ottomans from Danish design label Hay. The ottomans are made from antique Indian saris, each sari carries its own history which is transferred to the ottoman.

The ottomans are available in two sizes.

Hay also has some beautiful antique quilts in their collection which are made from four to five layers of vintage saries hand tacked together

Today’s post takes us to Australia! To Byron Bay to be exact, the location of this gorgeous family home.

The house has a large outside entertaining area which has been decorated with a nod to Caribbean-style.

The backyard skate ramp provides entertainment for the adults as well as the children. How cool for boys to have their own ramp in their garden!

White surfaces are warmed with stone and timber, such as furniture and shelving in the playroom above. The chairs are the famous Tripp Trapp chairs from Stokke.

Today I’m loving … this beautiful children’s den. It is designed by London designer Ilse Crawford. The room is part of a historic Georgian building in Somerset, England. The colourful pouf is from Donna Wilson by the way. You can see more of this family house on NY Times Style Magazine.

Today I’m loving … this (very easy to make) wall art.

This is the home of Sally and Mark Bailey which is located in the English country side, two hours away from busy London. The couple has always loved living in unusual places, far from the bustle of the city to enjoy nature all year long.

In their home you can find second hand objects and furniture mixed with items from their famous shop Bailey Home and Garden.

Here and there touches of yellow bring color to the rooms.

Today’s is a gorgeous sunny day here in The Netherlands with temperatures rising above 20 °C (= 68F). You can find me in the garden… Happy weekend to you all!

This is the beautiful Parisian home of the owners of stylish children’s boutique Noro in Paris. After an extensive renovation of six months owner Clair could start with the fun part: decorating!

Claire loves to reinvent new from something old. Her motto is that you can create an atmosphere with next to nothing. The image above shows her gorgeous collection of Japanese ceramics.

The hallway with a beautiful tiled floor.

Grey and black have been used for one of the children’s room.
