antique quilt ottoman from hay

Today I’m loving … these ottomans from Danish design label Hay. The ottomans are made from antique Indian saris, each sari carries its own history which is transferred to the ottoman.

The ottomans are available in two sizes.

Hay also has some beautiful antique quilts in their collection which are made from four to five layers of vintage saries hand tacked together

  9. What sweet materials! These are the kind of pieces that make me really happy. Oddly, there’s something a little ‘France Perfume Region’ about them; that kind of simultaneous charm and elegance. I would love to have these in my country home.
