La Maison Pujol is a small (only 5 rooms) luxury bed and breakfast in the South of France. Architect and designer Philippe Phi has renovated this former winery into a stylish boutique hotel.

Each of the rooms has been decorated with a vintage twist. The furniture is a eclectic mix of design classics, modern pieces and bric-a-brac finds. Vintage letters (I love them!) can be found on the exterior and interior of the hotel.

The location of the hotel, surrounded by Cabardès and Minervois vineyards, is also breathtaking. You can find more information about rates and availability on the hotel’s website.

Today’s post is about workspaces. Some are small, some are large, some are very well organised and others are eclectic but they are all inspiring! The stunning workspace above is Jantine’s office.

I love the use of text on the wall. Image is from the portfolio of Petra Bindel) – thanks Down and Out Chic!

This farmhouse is situated in a Weesp, a small village not far for busy Amsterdam.

The house was old and warn out when it was bought and an extensive renovation was needed.

The owners successfully managed to keep authentic details but added all comforts of a modern house.

The floors in the kitchen and living room are made of concrete.

Today I’m loving … these garden chairs from Anthropologie.

The chairs, designed by David Le Versha, are inspired by the designs of traditional wrought iron fencing.

The cherry tree in our garden is in full blossom! Looking forward to a lot of cherries this summer…

Welcome summer! Today’s post is inspired by the beautiful weather we are having here in The Netherlands. To celebrate the summer weather I am showing you some gorgeous outdoor areas.

A gorgeous alfresco setting for dinner at sunset.

A confident mix of five or more shades of pink creates a vibrant, co-ordinated look. The bench seating creates a relaxed atmosphere prefect for outdoor entertaining.

Books are used to create an intellectual vibe. Great styling for a book club lunch or dinner!

A dominant palette of pinks, from salmon to cerise, helps to unify patterned and plain cushions in this laid-back alfresco dining area. Painted stone walls give the space a sunny Mexican-feel.

This display of ceramic objects makes a nice addition to today’s post about Japanese ceramics and houseware!
