25% discount on tire swings

horse swing

In February you get a 25% discount on this horse tire swing. The swing is constructed entirely out of recycled rubber tires. The only thing on this horse that isn’t made of tires is his charming mane which is made from rope. Also this fun tire swing is available with a 25% (in February only). Both swings are great for outdoor and indoor!

great idea to store car toys

This is such a great idea to use magnet knife holders (which you can get from IKEA for example) to store car toys.

a beatiful home in melbourne, australia

melbournelyn4.jpg

This gorgeous house located in Melbourne, Australia has been decorated by Gardener & Marks. This design duo, which consists of Amanda Henderson-Marks and Lyn Gardener, has great taste. You can find more information about their services here.

melbournelyn3.jpg

The house is originally an early 1900s mattrass factory that had been derelict for years. It has been transformed by Lyn Gardener into an open plan warehouse with huge open space, a central courtyard and roof top terrace.

The large spaces are white and bright and are filled with vintage chandeliers, 19th century French furniture, original fittings and classic decor.

I am loving the French style shutters.

displaying kid’s art

kinderart.jpg

In August 2009 I posted a photo which showed a way of featuring kid’s drawings (you can read this post here). I did not have any children back then but now I have a baby son I can’t wait until he is old enough to make me some beautiful drawings! I also like the way how drawings are displayed in the image above. Great inspiration! I’m also loving that gorgeous yellow vintage chair.

Some beautiful new poufs have arrived at Le Souk! They are great to use a extra seats, or to create a cosy corner in your home. With a tray they can also be used as a (low) table.

The poufs featured are: Suzani Pouf in grey, the large Ibiza Pouf in brown, and the small purple pouf. The stylish leather pouf in the image above is made from soft suede leather in a warm grey color.

letterpress wallpaper

letterbehang1.jpg

Today I’m loving … this unique typology wallpaper from Wall & Decò. This Italian company uses technical innovated materials and ideas to create original designs. The Wall & Decò wallpapers overcome the classical repetition on every roll of the same small graphic subjects, like the pattern of the common wallpapers. The unique pattern is spread all over the entire mural surface for dramatic effect.

letterbehang2.jpg

The beautiful letterpress pattern (images above) seems to be three-dimensional, an optical illusion that gives the impression that the wall consists of type blocks.
