The t-shirt says it all! Baby Kick is already 15 weeks old. Time flies!

merry christmas

Merry Christmas to you all!

PS: I have saved this beautiful image but I can not remember where I found it. Please let me know if you know from which (Scandinavian) blog this image is so I can mention the correct source!

Update: photo by Helena Normark, thanks guys for your help in finding the source!

eclectic swedish home

olsson2.jpg

This eclectic interior has been featured on several blogs lately but I want to show it to you anyway, in case you haven’t seen it yet.

olsson3.jpg

This beautiful Swedish home belongs to decorator Marie Olsson Nylander. The gorgeous desk was a bargain sale (why do I never find sales like this..). The lamp is designed by Marie herself.

olsson6.jpg

I like the colorful accents which can be found through the entire house. The blue kitchen island was bought in Czech Republic.

olsson1.jpg

Marie’s creative home office.

olsson4.jpg

Son Otto’s room. The pendant light is created by Marie herself.

diy: candle knitwear

kerstsweetpaul.jpg

Today I’m loving .. this crafts project created by Sweet Paul. It is easy: all you need is a nice candle in a glass, a piece of a sweater, needle and thread. Simply measure the material around the glass, fold down the sides, cut of any excess material and sew it together in the back.

diy: bottle candle holders

These diy candle holders made from bottles don’t need any instructions I think.

grey and wood

Beautiful interiors with grey and wood. That rustic hand carved wooden stool in the bathroom is from Dutch design label Pols Potten.

christmas inspiration

blauwkerst1.jpg

As Christmas is only a few days away, this will be one of the last Christmas themed posts. The image above is from Sweet Paul: I’m loving the tree against that beautiful blue wall.

feltgarland.jpg

If you have time (unfortunately I haven’t) you can make a felted holiday garland. You can find a tutorial on Papernstitch.

vases grouped together

vasesbloom.jpg

Today I’m loving … vases grouped together. Similar vases from Danish brand Bloomingville are available from Le Souk.

ceramics by wendy jung

xmasceramics.jpg

This beautiful Christmas tea light holder from Etsy seller Wendy Jung is made from off white porcelain. It gives a soft magical glow and cast tiny dancing lights when placed near walls.

Another favorite of mine are these hanging vases. Gorgeous!
