This beautiful Scandinavian summer house belongs to Pernille and Peter Fredgaard. When they bought the house, it was actually quite small and uninteresting. It was the site they fell for. For years the couple grappled with expansion plans for the house
“It was difficult to combine our dreams of high ceilings, brightness and a sense of space with the reality of the small house, and on the other hand there was something very cosy about the house, something worth preserving.”
But the couple succeeded to renovate the house and making it larger and more modern, without losing its cosy country character.
