Today some more nursery inspiration with these French baby rooms. The princess style room above is created by hanging some beautiful fabric over a driftwood branch.

Storage remains the prime source of conflict between parents and children. With this storage unit (image above) functional storage space has been created.

A wrought iron bed, soft pastel colors and a canopy are the ingredients for a romantic girl’s room (image above).

This beautiful home belongs to Danish designer Nina Kejser and her Italian husband Mario Ladanza. The house is located in the small town of Charlottenlund, just north of Copenhagen (Denmark).

The apartment is decorated in a typical Scandinavian style: lots of white (to let as much light in as possible) and wooden floors. The room are airy and bright with modern furniture.

I am loving those pillows (image above).

The stylish white kitchen (images above) is clean lined and has a black natural stone top.

The cosy bedroom (image above).

With our baby due at the end of September, I am now starting to design and decorate the nursery. The room is almost finished in my head (predominantly white with colorful accents) but this doesn’t stop me from surfing the net for more inspiration.

This beautiful nursery is decorated by Ashley for her baby daughter. She’s filled it with handmade gifts, keepsakes and reminders of family – a quilt sewn by an aunt, an art print designed by a sister, a mirror received as a wedding gift, antique handkerchiefs from a grandmother and great grandmother, a treasured photo of beloved grandparents – that will surround her daughter and welcome her into the family fold.
