Stylish (online) kids boutique Smallable is having a big sale with discounts up to 50%! Here are some of my favorite items that are on sale now.

antlers & horns

antler3.jpg

Lately I have been seeing a lot of antlers and horns as wall decoration. I am not sure what to think of it but they do look good in these interiors above and below.

antleremma.jpg

It is a bit unusual to find antlers and a deer in a bathroom but somehow they fit and look good in this space. I don’t know the source of the top picture, the second photo (above) I found on Emma Designblogg.

antler2.jpg

A collection of beautiful things. I found this photo on Emmas Designblogg as well but I have no further information about the photographer.

antler4.jpg

This picture (above) is from photographer Melanie Acevedo’s portfolio.

The photo above shows the bedroom of Nikole Grace, her house was recently featured on Design*Sponge.

wooden recipe card box

recipebox2.jpg

Today I’m loving … this wooden recipe card box from Rifle Paper Co, a boutique stationery brand and design studio based in Florida, USA. The boxes are made by local craftsmen from locally salvaged hardwood (trees that were destined for landfills).

recipebox1.jpg

All of the boxes are unique and hand-crafted during a 3-month-long process (a month for the mill to source the salvaged wood, a month to build in the workman’s studio, and a month for the hand-rubbed finish to dry). The lids are then screen printed with two different design options.

scandinavian family home

I hope you all had a great weekend! We are experiencing warm weather here and we have been living mostly in our garden this weekend. Today’s post is showing a beautiful family home north of Copenhagen, Denmark.

kml3.jpg

This house has lots of gorgeous features such as those beautiful wooden beams.

klml2.jpg

The kids’ rooms are decorated with more color (images above). I am loving the photo wall in the image below (lower left corner).

rocking chair and cradle in one

rockid.jpg

Rockid is a rocking chair and cradle in one. This clever piece of furniture is designed by Dutch designers Ontwerpstudio. While softly swinging the rocking chair and reading a book or singing a lullaby, the baby falls asleep. When the baby outgrows the cradle, it is possible to reconstruct the rockid into a rocking chair. The pillows from Skinny laMinx (see previous post) will look good with the color of this chair don’t you think?

Isn’t this little smock dress made from the Cloud Birds print in seafoam adorable? You can visit Heather’s Etsy shop to see all her designs.
