This beautiful house is located on Filicudi, Italy. Filicudi is one of eight islands that make up the Aeolian archipelago, situated 20-30 miles northeast of the island of Sicily.

A gorgeous shade of pale blue has been used throughout the entire house to give color to the rooms and outdoor areas.

All the rooms are named after islands belonging to the Aeolian archipelago. The names and islands are painted on the doors (see images below).

A kilim rug gives an ethnic touch. I have been seeing a lot of these kilim rugs lately.

  1. This house is gorgeous! I especially love the stones stack on top of each other on the staircase. And that is the perfect shade of blue.

  2. The house is quite nice, would like to see some paintings or artwork on the walls perhaps, just a bit to plain as is.
