This beautiful house is decorated in that typical Scandinavian style: shades of whites, beige, and light blues, white wooden floors and wooden furniture. Troughout the entire house splashes of blue are added to the neutral colours scheme. Scandinavian countries usually experience long winters and sometimes sunlight is less experienced, so this resulted to a need for airy and sleek interiors that the sunlight is made available most.

The photographer of these gorgeous images is Trine Thorsen from Norway. Her work has been published in Norwegian and international interior, fashion and lifestyle magazines. She has also contributed to several books.

Gorgeous pictures! Trine really captured all the light – airiness and splashes of color in the house. Thanks for sharing!

White rooms are my favourite! I guess it might be because I couldn’t actually have one. My children wouldn’t resist leaving their fingerprints all over the place! I’ll keep dreaming!
