Restaurant Home Made opened its doors in March 2008 and is located near the main street of the “Fuori Salone del Mobile” in Milan, Italy.
Owner Monica Bangari, together with architects Riccardo Salvi and Luca Rossire, envisioned a real home. This concept was used for designing the interior.

The food at Home Made is known to be healthy and fresh. Italian food at its best!

The restaurant also has a little garden, designed by landscape architect Carlo Callari of Milan’s ARePA studios. The chairs are from Patricia Urquiola.

the birdcage and fern walls…how extraordinary!
It’s almost as if a chic, grown up Alice in Wonderland thought of it.
I love everything about the restaurant especially the birdcage and garden furniture!
I am LOVING this restaurant!!!
I love the wallpaper with the lanterns/birdcage, and how they have put wall fittings for lighting! Adorable and clever
wow I love the big laterns on the walls, the wired pink pig. The style of this restaurants is really gorgeous!!
I like the place. BTW, does anybody know where I can find the red wire pig in the photo? Thanks.
That is absolutely the coolest restaurant that DOESN’T look like a restaurant I’ve ever seen! At first glance, I thought it was a garden shop, LOL.

It’s an interesting insight to a very complicated topic. I am glad that you brought it up. Thanks for the great article.
