Are you looking for a present for a child? I think these wooden toys are gorgeous. The classic rocker in the image above has been in production for over 50 years. Its low profile and back rest make it an ideal choice for young toddlers. It is available here.
The Uncle Goose ABC Blocks (image above) are handcrafted in Grand Rapids from sustainable Michigan basswood and embossed with child-safe inks. Each block features a unique animal picture, a number or math symbol, and four letters (two embossed) for a total of four complete alphabets. Also available from Pomme Shop.
The cute little kitchen (image above) is available from Buisjes En Beugels. By turning it, the kitchen can also be used as puppet theatre! The play barn is from MOMOLL designs. This company produces modern wooden toys with a strong Scandinavian design influence: reduced to the essential, minimalist and pure in form and color. It is available from Buisjes En Beugels.
