serene bedrooms

I hope you have enjoyed my posts about kitchens. Now it is time to move to a different room (but I will do an occasional kitchen post..). Today I start with a series of post about bedrooms. I already shared with you some images of bedrooms some weeks ago, you can find this post here.

Today’s post is about serene bedrooms, decorated in neutral colors. The vintage vibe in the bedroom in the image above is created by layering old linens, lace and soft damasks for a sense of romance and nostalgia. The walls are painted in greyish whites.

A contemporary four-poster bed is combined with antique finds and richly patterned fabrics for an eclectic scheme that’s inviting. The bed is from MDF Italia.

For the headboard in the picture above a pretty fabric has been used. It is a great combination with rustic grain of the bedside table.

The screen in the photo above is used as headboard. The beautiful screen is designed by Kelly Hoppen for BHS, and the Panthella Lamp is from The Conran Shop.

Small space can be maximised by transforming an unused corner or alcove, as in the image above.
