Earlier this week I posted about Casa Lila, a beautiful riad in Morocco decorated in purple. If you love the colour purple then you are in luck this season as purple and lavender shades are everywhere to be seen.
If you are brave enough you can paint an entire wall purple like in the images above.
But if you prefer a more subtle effect you can choose to use accessories such as pillows or wall hangings in a purple shade.

Yes! I have always loved purple! It is definitely my color! My bathroom vanity area walls are painted purple and everyone loves it!

oh great minds: I blogged a lot of the same pics recently – Trine’s work is beautiful. love the combo of purple with silvers, greys and blushes. I’m in a purple mood lately – I painted a wall in my bedroom a purpley grey which I actually didn’t like it at first, but now love!

I love that fireplace photo… we’re getting ready for lots of warm fires here, and this reminds me that there are definitley perks to the cold weather! I also love the headboard in the first photo. Thank you.

My old bedroom was that same shade of purple as the top image, with mirrored furniture and gray, white, sand and purple accessories and bedding. I always slept so well in it!

I am seeing more and more purple right now. I like that people are challenging past just more neutral colors. Great pictures!
