I recently saw a picture of a store that used bound square lumber as the entire cashier area. It was an interesting juxtaposition to the contemporary store.

Piles of wood have become stylish! I saw a furniture shop in NY where they had covered a whole gigantic wall – combined with contemporary furniture and chandeliers made of lightbulbs. Weird but fun combo!
