Last year I wrote about the Cloud Chair from WIS. But this Swedish design duo has created more beautiful things that are certainly worth showing.

For example Decades (top image). This chest of drawers is made out of discarded drawers, found and rescued at flea markets. A mix of different styles from earlier decades, with woods and knobs of various kinds, in a single piece of furniture. The old drawers are enhanced by the new frame in white lacquered MDF. Or the playful Twine Table (second image) which is a set of tables inspired by one of the oldest ways of attaching one object to another – with a needle and thread. The wire is twined through the table top, and becomes legs as well as upholding construction. Visit WIS’ website for more information and design.

Oh, how I love the many compartments. I could only imagine how fun it would be to fill those drawers with sentimental goodies.
Lovely.
Well, I think this is just a cheap copy of the work by portuguese design studio Boca Do Lobo (http://www.bocadolobo.com). That chest of drawers is too similar to the SOHO Sideboard from Boca Do Lobo.
Love the fact that is recycled stuff, but…
Love that dresser! The white frame with the wood drawers is terrific! Great find!
white/wood is a beautiful combination that you don’t see too often!
those drawers are gorgeous! i want!
Those tables are so cute! They’d be a great addition to any kid’s room and I’m sure that the little ones would just adore the button style. That’s just such a unique idea that I can’t really imagine how someone came up with it.
