Design package to Amsterdam with Droog, KLM and Lloyd Hotel

I am flying to sunny California this morning for a well needed holiday! I will continue posting so you don’t have to miss your daily dose of design & style here on the style files.


If you are looking for a trip as well, perhaps this design package with Droog, KLM and Lloyd Hotel might be something for you. If you fly to Amsterdam with KLM, you are offered a package deal for your stay in the ‘capital of Dutch Design’. The package includes discount on your ticket, a voucher for a free present from the Droog Design collection, including a guided tour in the Droog shop & gallery and special rates at the Lloyd Hotel in the trendy Eastern Docklands area.

Prices for a two-night package for two persons in a 2, 3 and 4-stars room are respectively €175, €199, €225 per person (flight not included). However, there will be an additional charge of €30 per person in the months April, May, June, September, October and November.

  1. This is not really a great deal. I wouldn’t want to stay in the docklands area, and a tour of the droog design collective can be had by simply walking into their store. Pay the same amount for an apartment in one of the charming areas of the ‘dam, and have an enormous space to yourself in a real neighborhood!
